We've now been engaged for a month and a half, and yet we still don't have a confirmed date!
We are fairly confident about the location we want for our wedding, yet because it is a very popular venue it is booked pretty solid.
On top of this the location is considering doing some remodeling projects. We are hoping their building project will work in our favor since the location coordinator said they might postpone the remodel, which would open up that date for us. However he said they won't make a decision until the end of August.
Therefore we wait...
As a contingency plan, we did reserve another Sunday as a BACK-UP date in case the one we want ends up not becoming available. (Both of these dates are in November 2012, but I'm not allowed to say more than this.)
We still can plan half of the wedding events, but the important ones are delayed: mailing out the official invites, booking the photographer/caterer/audio tech/etc, scheduling the honeymoon...
UPDATE 9/4/12: The date has been set. Some keen eyes noticed the date in the above photo didn't match, so to avoid confusion I did a little photoshop magic on it to bring it up to date (literally! ;)
